Cornell is committed to fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment for first-generation students. We consider you a first-generation college student if you come from a family in which neither of your parents or guardians has obtained a four-year college degree. To learn about the support available to students who identify as first-generation, please visit the Student Life website. The section of our How to Apply page for First-Generation College and Low and Moderate Income Applicants may also be a helpful resource.
