What careers do AAP students often pursue after graduation?

Students who enroll in undergraduate programs at AAP are equipped to take on the world's pressing challenges across a wide range of industries and sectors. Our graduates pursue meaningful careers aligned with their unique interests and thrive in a competitive job market that increasingly values creativity, innovation, and problem-solving. Across all departments and majors, top employers include leading architecture and design firms, global consulting companies, prominent cultural institutions, and mission-driven organizations. Architecture students graduate with a strong foundation in design thinking, spatial analysis, and sustainable problem-solving skills that translate across the built environment and beyond. Urban and Regional Studies students develop expertise in policy analysis, community engagement, and spatial planning, preparing them to address complex challenges in urban development, governance, and public service. BFA graduates, in particular, leverage their fine arts training to succeed in diverse fields such as technology, finance, education, and the nonprofit sector, demonstrating the adaptability and broad relevance of a studio-based education.
