Some first-year applicants to Cornell take college courses during high school. If their completed coursework through a post-secondary institution or "University in High School" program fulfills a requirement for high school graduation, the college credits will not transfer as Cornell credits. If, however, a student takes college coursework that does not appear on their high school transcript, the college/university transcript should be submitted in addition to the high school transcript and the credit(s) received may be eligible for Cornell credit.
If applicable, students should make arrangements to have the college/university from which they have received credit, submit their official transcript to Cornell. The Cornell college/school to which a student has applied will determine whether or not the credit(s) will be transferred.
