Undergraduate
Cornell expects both legal parents (biological or adoptive parents) to contribute to a student's education. If your parents are divorced, separated, or were never married, we consider the parent that you live with to be your custodial parent, and your other parent to be your noncustodial parent. We do not consider willingness as a factor, so even if one or both parents are not willing to contribute to your education, we will still require their information in order to assess financial aid eligibility.
Graduate
